Horsechestnut
Aesculus hippocastanum
This tree has large, opposite, palmately compound leaves and pyramids of flowers around May. It is often planted in parks and along city streets.
Most parts of this large tree are considered to be medicinal by some, and poisonous by others.  However, its unique features and ease of identification make it a favorite of many.
