Lord, I don’t really know what a “clean heart” looks like… but I DO feel the most PURE here, on this piece of land where I was born, where I first got to know you as “He who OWNS all this” — in the first five years of my life. It is DELIGHTFUL to go walking each evening, down by the creek — or at least near it and back up onto higher ground, while this flooding has got even the deer changing their habits, lol. THANK YOU for the cinquefoils and their little “minute pirate bugs” (Orius spp.) that I learned about last night. Perhaps I can transfer pics over to my laptop and use one for the featured pic on this ramble… Lord! There are just soooooo many things I want to DO, all at once!! Please help me use my time and my mind and all my other resources wisely. Help me to develop some type of routine, or at least some way of encouraging consistency in myself — in my writing and in my exercise, in my learning, and in building my site and working on all my projects. When my “real job” starts — probably this coming week — I ask you to not let it derail my other projects and goals. Please help me to stay founded on the ROCK that is CHRIST — and allow the Spirit to keep me focused, alert, diligent, and at PEACE. Amen.
