Lord, I thank you for the awesome BREAK I’ve had, away from this website, focusing instead on LEARNING and on starting working at a new place, mostly overnight shifts, managing some of my favorite clients thusfar. Thank you for these last two weeks of working full-time, earning enough to help my Mate get what he needs for his e-bike, and next month hopefully having enough to fund our gardens and other summer adventures. I WANT to travel… to Europe, to Constantinople (Istanbul), to the French and Italian countrysides… and I WANT to build a homebase in West Michigan as well. I WANT to drive to Kentucky and Iowa to see my children, and I WANT to have the freedom to live comfortably and independently in Texas next winter. But what I know I CAN DO this year (lol) is to go up and around the thumb of Michigan, just north of me, and get to know some of the coastal plants… as well as strengthening my knowledge of medicinal and edible species both inland and coastal. I CAN and WILL take my Mate and our ebikes to new trailheads and go exploring — combining my draw to him with my draw to nature, lol. And together, we will continue the gardening and “homesteading” to the extent we can, according to God’s will and purpose and timing. LOL… Lord, please also continue to help me learn how to be CONTENT and even FULFILLED by collecting & accessing media and planting map pins on locations, instead of physically visiting the locations on this planet that excite me — mostly because of the nature or the history, lol. Help me appreciate all the beautiful resources you have given me, Lord — including this website and the ability to turn what I LEARN into what I can REMIND myself and others, through digital cards and other interactives, heehee. :wink:
