Good morning, Father!
Thank you for the good night of sleep, going to bed early and able to get back up by 5am to enjoy the balmy 63 degree weather, before it dips to 60 by sunrise, lol. I even have walked over to the laundry facilities and begun my load of laundry, walking across the field in the “dark”. Although I have to say that it never seems all that DARK to me here… only out on the spillway where I slept overnight on the rocks by the waterfall cascades. Yet even at the darkest hour out there, it never seemed pitch-black. I don’t know how much better than average I can see in the dark, but it sure surprised me when a friend of ours fell over my Mate’s minibike… and I could see it so plainly that I honestly, sincerely thought he was just teasing me, joking around. What a shocker, that. THANK YOU, Lord, for always giving me a HOME in your creation, even at night, starting when I was only 3 or 4 years old and used to sneak out of the house once my sisters fell asleep. We were way out in the country, with buildings much farther apart than here, and I still could see my way across the yard, under the fence, and down the hill to the little grove alongside the tiny creek. I knew the lay of the land and there were no big dangers like holes in the ground — like there are all around the spillway here! I did NOT walk around freely out THERE after dark — it’s tricky enough during the day! :O For the curious,
HERE’S A VIDEO that I made of the spillway, and I think there is at least another one, on my YouTube channel… and my apologies for my neglect of my channels. Video production is something I very much enjoy, but just doesn’t find it’s way into my priority list often. Perhaps after this new site (FranLaff.com) is finally built to a point where I feel more relaxed and can spend more time on other things… or if the faithful Shepherd leads me in the direction of videos once again… :-)
