Good morning, Father. THANK YOU for all the amazing progress I have made on the
Jo Journals series this week, and PLEASE make Amazon finally finish publishing Jo Language within the next few hours, before I send today’s edition of my
newsletter! It is supposed to take “up to 72 hours” but I submitted it a week ago today. Not sure if the holidays are slowing the workers or what, but it IS rather frustrating. I am already almost finished with the next book in the series — Jo Bird! :D It is sooooooo cool to finally have figured out the little details of how to create my series of learning journals, and be on my way to publishing them! THANK YOU, Lord! PLEASE keep me motivated and not get discouraged if Amazon drags their feet, or if the books do not sell well at first. I have long wanted to create, even just for myself, print books in a medium size, with a dot grid like a bullet journal, that also have pages for writing in all that I learn — like the vocabulary for foreign languages I like to sample such as Indonesian, Dutch, Greek, French, Mandarin Chinese, and Italian. And for even longer, I have wanted a NATURE journal to inspire me to learn about (and record what I learn!) new species of trees and wildflowers, birds and reptiles. Yay! I am excited! Because NOW, more than ever, a NEW WAY of learning is needed… with some schools doing “home learning” and nearly EVERYONE able to find information easily, at their fingertips 24/7. All the learner REALLY needs is some type of guidance of WHAT to look up online… and a place to jot down notes and draw/fill in little tables and infographics and such… and studies show that this type of working with information, even gathering the information yourself, is MUCH more effective than just sitting and listening to a lecture, in-class. Still, people can listen to or watch lectures in their own homes (or wherever they take their phones!)… and with my little 6×9 learning journals, they can easily write down tidbits of what they learn, both to help them commit it to memory AND to have for review later — even YEARS later! I personally plan to have a whole shelf of Jo Journals that I personally use, and I can’t wait to see what I might be allowed to “create with the Creator” in the future! I am sure my first Jo Journals will be simple and unsophisticated compared to ones that I create a year or more from now… God willing, I hope to improve my technique and content with each new book in the series. Yay! Excited! :D
