Wow! What a DAY I am having…! Let me linger in appreciation for a moment…
Writing and taking pics and creating graphics (Viz) really helps SINK IN the positive vibes for me, heehee. Especially when I am getting two extra days OFF this week, and am not in any hurry today.
I THOUGHT I was going to post my long list of 245 VALUES today, and in fact I woke up after only 5 hours of sleep, continuing the list (which had 214 VALUES at the start of the day), adding new ones I kept thinking up with my stubborn, sleepy brain, lol. By 7:30 am, I gave it up and came down from my little loft bed, doing my domestic little morning chores for myself and my Mate while continuing to add to that list…
Eventually I used Tools4noobs line counter and miniWebTool counter to count and verify that I had 245 values in my list. I wasn’t trying for any particular number, so I thought it was AWESOME when the 245 fit exactly into the 5-column text frame I created for them in an Adobe InDesign file.
…BUT… I haven’t touched the list again, since then. I never finished creating that graphic (that Viz). Instead, I just FLOWED along like the little Happy Hippie I am, and did an experiment with SIX GRAINS in my Instant Pot.
Wow! I had FUN creating all those images and got myself to actually PRACTICE and LEARN NEW TRICKS in the topic I call VIZ = my condensed word for meaning creating visuals (printables, social media images, promotional visuals and such). I never expected this day to turn out like this, but I am GRATEFUL that it did!
I wanted a fair comparison between these six grains I had on hand, so I added the same amount of each to one cup in my silicone muffin cooker, also adding a tiny bit of salt and sweetener to each, to make them more palatable. I cooked them all together, uncovered, for 14 minutes. You can see the results and my detailed observations of texture, taste, cost, and useability, in the FREE PDF. Enjoy!
