Stolen Moments.
Go ahead, take one! It would be given away to something perhaps less important, anyway. Watching a commercial. Napping. Worrying. Browsing online.
Why not build the self and work towards your goals with that moment, instead? Why not write – and truly capture the moment for all time? Or invest the moment with color and form by drawing or painting or doodling or sewing? Why not give that moment a smile and some hope – tell someone you care or show them with a touch. Care about your body with a moment of exercise. Care about your dog with a moment of play. Above all, care about the moment itself – by living in it, instead of wasting it by dwelling in the past or the future.
Try This: Write about a single moment in your day, trying to use all your senses. Look a little deeper and write about what is in your heart and mind during that moment. Who are you? What do you feel? What do you want?
