Good morning, Lord!
THANK YOU for bringing me HOME to Michigan! It is an absolute delight to sit in my sister’s little camper, hearing the red-winged blackbirds, starlings, house sparrows, and robins singing outside! It is awesome to see two kinds of clover and two kinds of plantain everywhere I walk, along with violets and wild thyme, ground ivy and mallows! Riding home from the airport, I was nearly in tears of joy seeing the variety of trees — AND that they are just unfurling here: what I call “fingerling” leaves! I am sure I have missed the skunk cabbage and marsh marigolds’ blooming times, but not much else! What an amazing blessing to see so many old friends! :D Lord, I thank you for a peaceful flight, with no problems at all besides missing a few small items out of my suitcase. My laptop made it through just fine, and now I have a vehicle to drive — although I have only driven it to the shop so far, and I need to buy insurance for it today. Lord, please protect me as I drive around with NO license plate because of COVID. Please help me “jaguar” and not draw the attention of the police or other nuisances. Be with me as I continue to visit with family but start to explore on my own. I sooooooo look forward to getting out into nature ALONE WITH YOU, Lord! Please keep my Mate safe and healthy in Texas, strengthening his body and mind, heart and spirit. I miss him, Lord. But I am grateful for this time of growth. Amen, lead on faithful Shepherd!
